Called and asked for another person in the household and I said they weren't there and they started making fun of their name and being very rude I called the number back and all I get was a busy signal. I tried asking who was calling and they would not tell me.

Asked for a manager, said she was from IMS. When I asked what IMS was, she hung up. Call back and recording says disconnected.

Person actually answered asking for someone at this address who has his own phone number would not leave a message.

Just a few days ago i received a call from my mom saying this guy was trying to get in touch with me and god that was scary cause i didnt even know what was going on and next thing i know i was in collections any way i am glad that guy call or else my credit would it been dammage by something i wasnt eve aware of thanks alex jensen .

This was the State Comptroller's Office in Austin Texas. They were calling regarding a name change we submitted for tax purposes.

This very indian sounding man from this number indicated he was calling from a law firm (name that I couldn't understand) and that they were calling to collect on the debt from an advance that I didn't pay. Well, first of all, he had my name. Second of all, I never took an advance. I indicated that I hadn't and oculd he please give the details as I was curious as to how this could possibly be. I also indicated that I was affiliated with the court system and could easily check what he was talking about. I wanted the name again, the phone number, address and all the details in writing provided to me. He began to fumble and spitter and sputter. I didn't let up. He ended the call by saying well ok then, you didn't!. It is a scam and absolutely illegal.
